Angiogenesis in HDMEC culture was stimulated in the presence of a pro-angiogenic (A) and several concentrations of an anti-angiogenic (B) drug. The cells were stained by Calcein-AM and analysed by software-supported image quantification (SSIQ). The development of capillary-like structures is increased upon activation and decreased in a dose dependent manner by the inhibitor.
